Masters by Research Student Journey
Considering a Masters by Research Degree
What is a Masters by Research degree?
A Masters by Research typically involves one year of research skills development units before embarking on a year-long research program which culminates in the submission of a thesis. Masters by research degrees at ECU are generally two years full-time (or the equivalent part-time study), however this depends on the discipline.
Before you apply
Potential Masters by Research students should discuss their potential research topic and the availability of possible supervisors with the Course Coordinator prior to the submission of an Application for Admission.
