Living and studying in another country is an opportunity for growth, a chance to experience cultural awareness and explore the education system in other countries. There are amazing opportunities available for students willing to undertake a semester or full academic year in this program.
The ECU Exchange Out Program will allow you to study overseas for one semester or an entire academic year while gaining credit towards your ECU degree. You will remain enrolled at ECU while studying overseas and will pay your HECS, deferred HECS or ECU fees to ECU as usual. All units/subjects studied will be credited towards your ECU degree.

The Faculty Office coordinated successful Student Ambassador Programs to China and India since 2006. ECU Student Ambassador Programs offer a wonderful opportunity for current students to experience various cultures, industry tours and university life in other parts of the world in a guided environment.
The Ambassador Programs may be specific to a particular School and discipline or may be offered over a broader area of study.
Feedback from students who have participated in one of the ambassador programs has been very positive, with students appreciating the informative and exciting program.
Expressions of Interest are sought from students who would like to take part in the ECU Ambassador Program visiting China in 2009. This opportunity is offered to currently enrolled 2nd and 3rd year and postgraduate students in the Faculty of Computing, Health and Science, Faculty of Education and Arts, and the Faculty of Business and Law.

The program provides a fantastic opportunity for you to visit one of the world’s fastest growing economies. You will immerse yourself in the Indian culture and enjoy a great outward bound experience with other students from ECU. The program is open to all currently enrolled 2nd and 3rd year ECU students. You will be accompanied by two ECU academic staff members who will act as tour leaders.
